Distributed (DMO/DMT) Support
At its core,
LiteFliteŽ is designed with Distributed Mission Operations/Training (DMO/T) in mind. LiteFliteŽ supports IEEE 1278.1 Distributed
Interactive Simulation as well as IEEE 1516 High Level Architecture protocols. DIS
Support LiteFliteŽ
supports the Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) protocol as defined in IEEE
1278.1-1995 and IEEE 1278.1-1998. LiteFliteŽ
provides many commonly used enumerations pre-configured as part of the standard release,
while providing the user the capability to add or modify the values used. HLA
Support LiteFliteŽ
supports HLA as defined in the IEEE 1516 standard. HLA
support includes the choice of two Federation Object Models: the Real-time Platform-level
Reference (RPR FOM 1.0) or the DVTE Federation Object Model. Integrated
Radio and Intercom Support Version 4.3 of
LiteFliteŽ will include an optional DIS Radio/Intercom module. This module will require no special hardware other
than a standard Windows PC-compatible headset. LiteFliteŽ
4.3 is scheduled to ship to customers in the fall of 2005. |
