The AAcuity® Gateway is a graphical user interface front-end of the network library interface to the

AAcuity® PC-IG Software with additional features and capabilities..

The base-line version of the AAcuity® Gateway features the following:

- One touch power-on and IG startup of multiple Image Generators on the same network.

- A projector interface for configuring multiple projectors.

- Joystick and mouse control movement within the visual terrain database on the AAcuity® PC-IG

- Environmental controls to adjust: Time of Day, Cloud layers, Ground Fog, Wind, Sea States and

Atmospheric settings.

- Controls to place entities within the virtual environment and attach special effects to them.

- Controls to load control measures in the virtual database and toggle 2525B symbology on entities.

- Controls for displaying special effects.

- Controls for activating and configuring IR and II sensors.

- Controls for performing Channel Geometry, Distortion Correction and Edge Blending operations on a

multi-unit Image Generator system. (Used on the USA/USMC IMTS (Stinger) Upgrade Program)

- The ability to record and playback network traffic from itself or other traffic talking to the AAcuity®

PC-IG(s).

- The ability to stealth on a DIS exercise and attach to entities in the virtual world from various attach points.

- The ability to save configuration settings of the AAcuity® Image Generator to scenefiles for various scene

configurations.
